Rooted in Japanese heritage and refined in the culinary capitals of Paris, Dubai & Tokyo, Pastry Chef Kaoru Nakada seamlessly blends Japanese precision with the artistry of French pâtisserie.
Born and raised in Tokyo, she was immersed in a culture of balance, restraint, and attention to detail—principles that shaped her pastry philosophy.
Her early career took her to the renowned George V, Fauchon Paris, and the kitchens of Alain Ducasse, where she mastered the foundations of classic French pâtisserie while developing her own signature style—a fusion of Japanese eternal refinement and French sophistication.
In 2021, Kaoru moved to Dubai, bringing her expertise to one of the region’s most distinguished pastry kitchens at Jumeirah Mina A Salam.
Now, in 2025, she introduces Kaoru, her own pastry atelier in Dubai, her new home, where Japanese and French pastry traditions converge—a space where heritage meets innovation, and every creation reflects a journey of artistry and craftsmanship.
